Perseverance
I had the opportunity to speak to the students at McAuiffe Heights on Friday about a very important word in my journey… Perseverance, which is steadfastness in doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success. Each month the students are given a new word with a project in some form to go along with the discussion. This month they are holding an essay contest explaining Perseverance. I had a blast with the kiddo’s showing them all the “Rated G” version of outstroken.com while telling my story.
The Contortionist
It’s a blasted shame that Barnum and Bailey Circus announced bankruptcy back in January, as we all felt that my career as the worlds first disabled contortionist was really starting to pick up steam!
